Macbook Adapter Extension
Is this configuration for a Macbook Pro okay?
I’m a first year college student who will probably buy a new Macbook Pro (2.66 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB hard drive) between my first and second year of college. I am not the most computer literate person but I do enjoy watching a fair bit of movies, playing games when I can, and overall enjoying a very fast, very efficient computer. Should I bump the Macbook configuration up to 2.93 Ghz for $259 (college discount)? This would put my configuration at about $2,500.
I’m also planning to buy a Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter ($28), Apple Remote ($19), and the extension of the Applecare Warranty ($239).
Any other suggestions are welcome!
Also, I’m going to get the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor.
Skip the speed bump, it´s really not worth it. MacBooks are not great for gaming, but they will do.
